Saturday 16th September 2017
Please come and join us for the afternoon and evening to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Soberton Village Hall.
Plans are now well underway to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Soberton Village Hall. Please keep Saturday 16th September free in your diaries as it promises to be a fun-packed day.
Some of the groups that use the hall will be giving demonstrations. Entertainment will also include Sing and Tonic (the Meon Valley community choir), the Meon Valley Orchestra, the Soberton Strummers (the ukulele group) and members of Soberton Players will be performing on stage. There will also be activities for the children throughout the afternoon. In addition, there will be a display of the history of the hall and exhibits of local artists’ work. Refreshments and cake will be available in the afternoon.
Weather will be no problem as there will be marquees to shelter in, should the need arise. A licenced bar will be available in the evening.
The evening will include a Pig Roast and will finish with a disco featuring music from the last 50 years, so bring your dancing shoes.
Watch out for posters and articles for more details and how to obtain tickets in the coming weeks.
